FAQ

  • Who is Mandarin Horizon best suited for?

Mandarin Horizon is best suited for travelers who value flexibility, thoughtful planning, and a more personalized experience in China. Whether the trip is for leisure, cultural exploration, or a professionally arranged business exchange, we are especially well suited to travelers who want a more tailored and carefully managed experience.

  • Do we only focus on China?

Yes. China is our sole focus. By concentrating exclusively on travel within China, we are able to offer a deeper level of destination understanding, more refined planning, and a more specialized service experience for guests who want to explore the country with confidence and insight.

  • What kinds of journeys do we arrange?

We arrange tailor-made travel only. This includes leisure holidays, cultural journeys, private family travel, and mid- to large-scale business exchange tours. We also support institutional visits, delegation programs, and other purpose-led itineraries. Every journey is individually designed rather than drawn from a fixed template.

  • Do we offer ready-made tours?

We may provide elegant route suggestions or sample itineraries for first-time visitors, but these are intended only as starting points. At Mandarin Horizon, every aspect of the journey can be adjusted or entirely redesigned, from destinations and travel pace to structure and experiences. Our emphasis is always on customization.

  • How far in advance should I plan my trip?

We strongly recommend planning two to three months in advance. This allows sufficient time to understand your preferences, refine the itinerary, and coordinate the most suitable arrangements. Advance planning is particularly valuable for bespoke journeys, peak periods, and larger groups.

  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Mandarin Horizon handles cancellations, amendments, and related arrangements in accordance with the applicable tourism laws and regulations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. Specific terms will be communicated clearly during the planning and confirmation process.
